Account Access Guide

Give Access. Keep Your Passwords.

You never need to send a password to Market Bishop or to your agency. Every platform below lets you share access with your own login, and you can take it back at any time.

The Easiest Way: One Connect Link
01

Your Agency Sends a Link

From inside Market Bishop, your agency creates a secure connect link for your business. It expires after 14 days.

02

You Sign In on the Platform

Each button takes you to the real Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, X, TikTok or Pinterest sign-in page. Market Bishop never sees your password.

03

You Approve, and You Stay in Control

The platform shows what is being shared. You can remove access at any time from that platform's settings.

Never send passwords by email or text. If anyone asks for your password, use the connect link or the platform's own access settings below instead. Passwords shared by message can trigger security locks and two-factor prompts, and they are hard to take back.
Platform by Platform

Facebook & Instagram

Partner access in your Meta business portfolio, or the connect link

  1. 1Fastest: open the connect link from your agency and sign in to Facebook or Instagram yourself. Meta shows exactly what is being shared before you approve.
  2. 2For full agency management: open Meta Business Suite, go to Settings, then Partners, and add your agency using the Partner Business ID they give you.
  3. 3Choose the Facebook Page and Instagram account to share and the level of access, then confirm.

Instagram must be a Business or Creator account to connect. You can remove a partner from Settings at any time.

Threads

Connect link, or add Threads to your Meta business portfolio

  1. 1Open the connect link and sign in with the Instagram account your Threads profile uses.
  2. 2If you manage assets in Meta Business Suite, you can also add your Threads profile to your business portfolio and share it with your agency as a partner.

Google Business Profile

Add your agency as a Manager

  1. 1Sign in to the Google account that owns your Business Profile and search for your business name on Google.
  2. 2Open the menu on your profile, choose Business Profile settings, then Managers.
  3. 3Select Add, enter your agency's email address, choose Manager, and send the invite.

Give Manager, not Owner. You stay the primary owner and can remove the agency at any time.

Google Analytics & Search Console

Add your agency's email as a user

  1. 1Google Analytics: open Admin, then Property access management, select +, add your agency's email and choose a role (Viewer or Analyst is enough for reporting).
  2. 2Search Console: open Settings, then Users and permissions, select Add user, enter your agency's email and choose Full or Restricted.
  3. 3Or connect Google from the connect link and sign in yourself.

YouTube

Channel permissions, or the connect link

  1. 1Open YouTube Studio, then Settings, then Permissions, and select Invite.
  2. 2Enter your agency's email and choose a role. Editor or Manager lets them upload and manage; Viewer is read-only.
  3. 3Or open the connect link and sign in with the Google account that owns the channel.

LinkedIn

Add your agency as a Page admin

  1. 1Open your LinkedIn Page as an admin and go to Settings, then Manage admins.
  2. 2Select Add admin, search for the agency team member by name, and choose a role. Content admin can post; Analyst can view reporting only.
  3. 3Or open the connect link and sign in with a LinkedIn account that already administers the Page.

X

Connect link, or X's Delegate feature where your account has it

  1. 1Open the connect link and sign in to X yourself. X shows what Market Bishop can do before you approve.
  2. 2If your account has access to Delegate, open Settings and privacy, then Your account, then Delegate, and invite the agency's X account as a Contributor or Admin.

Revoke access any time under Settings, then Security and account access, then Apps and sessions.

TikTok

Connect link, or TikTok Business Center

  1. 1Open the connect link and sign in to TikTok yourself.
  2. 2For ads and agency management: in TikTok Business Center, add your TikTok account, then add your agency as a partner and share the account or ad account with it.

Pinterest

Connect link, or Pinterest business access

  1. 1Open the connect link and sign in to Pinterest yourself.
  2. 2For agency management: open Business access in your Pinterest business account, add your agency as a partner, and choose which profile or ad account to share.
For Agencies

Open a client in Market Bishop, go to Social Media, and select Send the client a connect link. Send it to the business owner. Each account they connect goes straight to that client, and the link stops working after 14 days.

Menu names on each platform change from time to time. If a step above does not match what you see, the platform's help center has the current path. To remove access or have data deleted, see Data Deletion.
